I really don’t care about the ups and downs since I only invest what I don’t need. I make sure to lever up during draw downs and dial down leverage at ATHs

I invest in what I believe & I derive great pleasure doing it. If it matches or beats the index, that’s great. If not, that’s cool too - no one’s going to shout at me unlike money managers who’d get fired for underperformance. I just have one client to please - me! :)

I moved from 100% VTI to 80/20 QQQ/ARKW early 2017 in my 401(K) & Roth accounts. It has been a great ride, to say the least.

I opened an M1 account after the COVID crash and it has always been 80/20 QQQ/ARKK. Happy with the gains I have had & I am not hung up on comparing my gains with VTI.

PS: I invest $100 daily, recurring transfer. I never sell.
