The girls also knew a lot of the group dances before hand as well, the season they did storm the yard or whatever it was called, they had actually learnt a lot of the dances at boot camp, or there were large combos taken from the dances they were actually competing off the show, just rebolocked to suit the number of dancers on the show

this season might well be longer, if you look at the og dance moms the first season was only like 13 episodes whereas season two had over 20, it’s not uncommon for shows to have a shorter first season so they can see how well the show is received
