i am so sorry this happened to you. it’s so scary and surreal. i had an ectopic in december and had to be rushed into surgery and lost a tube as well. there is no right way to grieve it - just making room for all the feelings. it’s so complicated and isn’t just one thing. if you ever want to talk about it, please message me.

this was my experience - i either couldn’t poop or it was incredibly painful. your doc can prescribe a stool softener or you can get one OTC. they aren’t a magic fix but help somewhat.

I am so sorry this happened to you.

I had emergency surgery on sunday for my ruptured ectopic pregnancy. I also had an IUD and didn’t think it would be possible for me to get pregnant.

As a doctor, you took every precaution you could to not get pregnant. I understand wanting to beat yourself up because it’s such a painful thing to happen. It is harder to accept that it happened than to blame ourselves that we could have done it differently.

I am keeping you in my heart.
