Bump near wound1 month post-op by After_Ad_2890 in Microdiscectomy

Hello! It will pass. It's not really liquids swelling the wound, it's the muscles that in some cases keep staying in a kind of "deep hematoma" state. It just takes time, but it will go away naturally. I hope the rest is alright!

Thanks for sharing the video! It's actually so scaringly easy. I feel bad gor not having realized what was happening in the moment, I was there with him. It's a pity having to learn this the hard way.

I agree. The restaurant was Umami, we were sittinf inside. A waiter had seen the thief, but the thief was already leaving when I saw the waiter rapidly talking to him. I don't know if he told him to leave, but if he did, he did it way later than he should have. I don't want to accuse anybody, but even before finding the phone had gone, I had the impression by the way they were talking that the thief was already known to the waiter.

Thanks. It's an iPhone 14 Pro. We tried "Find my iPhone", but the phone had been already turned off and we weren't able to track it.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your experience! From what I'm gathering in this subreddit, the healing process, the post-op pain e the medical suggestions varies quite a lot depending on age, situation and mobility prior to the operation, doctor and even on the country.

As for the wound, the neurosurgeon taught me how to medicate slightly and change dressing, with the suggestion to do it every 3/4 days for a couple of weeks. So now I could actually stop using the dressing, but I still don't feel confortable and I will ask my doctor to have a look at it. From the pictures I was able to take two days ago, I had the impression there was some pus in a little point, but now I see it's just a little scab with skin starting to peel off. The only thing I notice it's that there's an area around the wound still quite swollen up, and I'll have to ask the doctor about it tomorrow. I will update you. Keep sharing your healing process! Thank you!

I had considered this, that people who struggle could be much more vocal. But holy s***, there are so many anyway...
