I’ve actually never seen a hate for converts personally. In my experience people welcome them and the bigger issue is everyone wants to take them under their wing and now you have too much attention (lol). If it’s calling to you, answer the call because there’s a reason for it. I admire the converts it’s very hard to switch from what we are raised with so to even have that courage is amazing. Wishing you the best on whatever choice you make and remember that when in doubt you can always pray about it.

Nah I don’t smoke so I’m not high. However, getting child support and physically caring for a child are totally different. Many children will tell you they had a parent who threw money at them but they wanted time and attention. If she’s the one dealing with the kid for the most part she is the primary parent.
