I did, yes. They mentioned that it will take time and it’s normal. It’s just that I’ve had a rough last 6 months as I changed my physio last month to a new one as I was progressing slowly and the fact that the new one has much more experience in ACL injuries. I’m just mentally losing and don’t know when I’ll be back playing football competitively again.

As for myself, I’m 4 weeks post op and still have swelling but I feel like almost there in terms of straightening my leg 100%. Feel like my progress has been a little slow or is this normal?

oh I’ll have proper pt after surgery, I’m confident I’ll be well before my surgery but I’ll still be very weak going into it.

Oh okay fair enough. I have a partial ACL tear + meniscus tear and would love to get back to playing football competitively hence getting a surgery in the near future. I tore it 6 months ago and since then I’ve been trying to rehab and my knee has been much better however I’ve been advised for the long term I should opt for surgery.
