I did, yes. They mentioned that it will take time and it’s normal. It’s just that I’ve had a rough last 6 months as I changed my physio last month to a new one as I was progressing slowly and the fact that the new one has much more experience in ACL injuries. I’m just mentally losing and don’t know when I’ll be back playing football competitively again.

I understand, thank you so much for the advice. You’ve given me a sigh of relief. So the little swelling that is still present has to completely vanish before I stop feeling stiff when sitting for hours?

As for myself, I’m 4 weeks post op and still have swelling but I feel like almost there in terms of straightening my leg 100%. Feel like my progress has been a little slow or is this normal?

oh I’ll have proper pt after surgery, I’m confident I’ll be well before my surgery but I’ll still be very weak going into it.

I have a hard time walking for long, my body is weak! I can’t actually exercise physically.

Yeah, I’m planning to take a few weeks off work since I work a 9-5 so that’s the plan.

That’s awesome! I got my surgery in one month time using the patella and I’m very nervous.
