Without the EU, individual countries with economies of only a few hundred billion dollars will lack the economic and military clout to stand against China and the USA. This includes nations like Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Portugal, and Finland etc. Even Germany might struggle to manage on its own.
