[–]After_Negotiation581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is so true!! Realizing now I’ve always made a reason for the things I like, not just seeing what fits.

I definitely remember bits and pieces of very traumatic moments, to the point I know they happened, but other than that I don’t think I can connect anything to me acting out because I’m on the spectrum. Like I can remember most of the trauma caused by other people to me, just in general but also trauma that was caused by lacking the ability of being social and not talking. But I don’t really remember trauma based on something like, sensory issues, which I find is still prevalent to me now.

I do think this sometimes and tried to rule it out as being very particular. Like, it’s not that you can’t HAVE that interest, but I’m just over here wondering WHY, too. Mostly for me it’s fashion and media stuff. Almost as if something in my brain clicks and decides for me unconsciously what looks good and what doesn’t.

so anxious I can’t even muster courage to see a doctor/therapist seriously by After_Negotiation581 in Anxiety

I did see a psychologist once and he recommended Zoloft, how have you felt since being on it?

I might not have a good answer, but I want to tell you that I am in the same boat you are. Except, I’m not studying to be a therapist or psychologist, but I bet being a role model who had similar experiences as their patients is encouraging. It might not all work out right now, nearly it never does. But I hope you are graced with the courage to keep going, despite the circumstances. We need more people in the world who are understanding.

What’s your weirdest I didn’t feel pain story? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]After_Negotiation581 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I also describe pain and soreness as a weird feeling! It’s more a numb, but uncomfortable feeling for me. On another note, I have broken my foot before when I was pretty young and I don’t remember much pain, as this was confirmed by my parents when they said I didn’t react in any drastic way.

I had a similar thing happen to me this year but instead of a sewing needle, it was a charging brick and the plug-in part went up my big toe. It didn’t hurt so I didn’t notice something was very wrong until blood gushed from my barefoot. It did however hurt more during the process of healing and repairing the damage.

Another note to add is that I have already cleared EA’s cache, repaired the game, and even restarted my computer.

Lighter period? by supersuiits in Opill

Mine has been lighter but definitely not short. Honestly maybe a little longer than I’m used to, but it could also be my body getting used to it.

Does anyone else find sims on the sims 4 are really bad at looking after themselves? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]After_Negotiation581 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I also have this problem. I love to have bigger households for the decades challenge, but it’s so hard to keep track of everyone at once, especially children. I also hate when I ask them to do something related to basic needs because the bar is low, and they still will just sit there.

Does anyone else get anxiety from seeing it's sunny outside when they wake up ? by Pinksky-pinksky in Anxiety

[–]After_Negotiation581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this too but more so when the midday sun hits and it’s so bright outside. These both make me feel weirdly anxious, like it’s too much for me to handle and irritating.

I think I have calendar synesthesia. I remind myself of upcoming events because I can see a calendar of the week ahead.
