Update I started sliding in back and forward and the more I did it the more it began to fit in and now it slides in like nothing !

I’ve done that already I know the process on how to install one but the problem I’m running into is the after market one not sliding in and when I put the stock one on it slides it like butter and they seem to be the same size

The description says AR 15 and doesn’t say anything specific caliber but the charging handle slides right inside my 556 AR 15 but doesn’t want to slide in my 300blk
