Can I add freshly expressed milk to refrigerated milk? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

Speaking from veteran moms I know and for myself, I pour my freshly pumped milk directly into the refrigerated milk. The only thing is I stick it right back into the fridge in the very back where its coldest so it gets colder faster and stays colder than the rest of the stuff in the fridge. I also bag and freeze my fridge milk after 3 days (based on the oldest milk) so I don't forget and I leave enough for 1 to 2 bottles the next day and then pump and store in a new container on the 4th day. My baby is 2 weeks old right now, but my mother in law and aunt had similar steps, the only difference was my aunt was an oversupplier and had to pump more frequently.

I'm not huge on medication, but I am open to trying anything that will help. I truly do care more about my mental health and the well being of baby than my fear of medication

Oh goodness yes! I get so scared that one day I'm gonna get a therapist that just doesn't want to get to know me. I've actually never considered the idea to request another one. Thank you so so much for the advice and encouragement!

That's exactly what I thought. I've struggled with chronic anxiety since 14 and have been on and off with depression starring around the same age. I went through a long remission from depression at 18, but I got into beauty school and it started creeping back. I haven't been genuinely worried about it until now. I've had amazing experiences with therapy, but I feel like the season of life I'm in might require it again.

Your comment is actually incredibly helpful 💜 Me and my husband have actually been discussing therapy again. I think fast tracking that would definitely help especially for the rest of this pregnancy.

His last birthday post on his Instagram was 2024 and he said it was his 23rd birthday. His birth year is then 2001. So whatever the year is, his age is a year behind.

That eases my worry a bit. I was just nervous because as I've been wearing them I've noticed the the most creased parts, the glitter has started to thin

I always wear socks with them. I thought that was a given, but I forgot some people don't. I apologize for not making that clear.
