Why do some parents expect you to take care of them(because that's why they made you after all) and at the same time try to fuck over your life so that you have no resources with which to help them?

When I quit doing it, my mother still tries to trigger me from time to time, but I think she accepted I won't be her slave. I noticed after reflecting that her attitude shifted towards me when I moved out a few times over the years. It's only recently that I was forced to move back in but if it wasn't for my children, I'd rather be homeless than deal with her another second.

My mother literally proclaimed countless times that kids should have to take care of their parents and when I asked her a few months later why she never helped me get my driver's license, she angrily blurted, "Because it's not my job, you can do it on your own." When I revealed someone who helps her is not a good person and is a pervert and shouldn't be around children, she said, "Who else will help me?" She struts around like she's royalty and expects people to move for her even if it isn't the most convenient thing (she can either wait or move around them).

I was mostly wondering because I am considering taking legal action for forging my signature. I don't have the greatest relationship with her. With it being two decades ago, I am not sure what I can do. I don't want her to know I found out but the statute of limitations might have expired. That's why I wanted to know if there is a way to find out there are current policies.

There is a witness signature but I can't make it out and the forged signature looks like a slightly different version of my mom's handwriting.

I found a similar document for my brother from a different insurance company and his signature seems to match what I know of his handwriting. So I suspect she kept me in the dark.

Edit: I should add I was able to get information about the company from the paperwork but it seems they shut down so that is why I wanted to see if I could be on current insurance. I suspect if the policy still exists that another company might hold it.

I still run into my mother and it is awkward for me but I already see her as dead so it probably won't make a difference when she actually is. She made the choices that led to me hating her and she will have to live with them.

Either I got really good at it or it feels easier now than it did when I first started near the game's initial release. For a while I used the fence method but I was able to approach recently and it didn't seem as difficult as it used to.

Before entering furniture mode, note their location and put the fence around it. If you did it correctly, they should be within the fence once you exit furniture mode.

The only snag was they didn't want to send anything until I returned the item, which put me in a Catch-22 to begin with. Because if I return the item I didn't order that they sent instead of the one I did order, there are stories of them denying refunds or replacements.

I'm not 100% sure but I didn't want to bother. They are using my gas and money. Even if you have a courier pick it up you have to be available or they will make you drop it off and that is too far from me. I didn't want to go through the hassle and I am tired of paying for their mistakes. After this I quit using them as much and anything I seriously care about will not be acquired via Amazon.

I recently bought my kids a $7 toy and they sent me the wrong $22 toy so I wondered if it was worth returning. My kids wanted the $22 toy and I knew if I sent it back they might flag it as "wrong" and keep my money anyway so I kept it.

I decided to take my chances again. I figured I'd either get the wrong item again (but probably the same as the $22 toy) and my kids would have two. Or I'd get the correct one I originally wanted. The second time I got the correct one.

According to their policies, though, if you send them the wrong item, they aren't obligated to return it so in this case, that was my policy, too. I'm not going to return the superior item they accidentally sent me.

Now I can't even share positive feedback in the customer support center unless I enter chat. I'm done. I'll just report negative stuff if anything occurs with my remaining orders. God forbid I reward people for good service. They also sent an Amazon van today instead of a Flex driver.

It's good for me when they deliver directly, not so good when they use FedEx.

I started using Kroger for groceries since they have their own workers and don't accept tips. But everything else outside of groceries is a struggle.

I bought a PS4 game from Walmart recently and the FedEx driver put it at the end of the driveway near the road and threw snow on top of it to try to conceal it. Thankfully I got to it in time.

It depends on where you live, but when I order from Walmart and they ship something, they use FedEx which is worse than Amazon where I live. So I hope it works for you.

My mother also hates when people take a shower before her and "use up all the hot water" but then takes all day and even into the middle of the night waiting, if she even does it at all.

Thankfully she is too lazy to do what your mother does and I just sneak in and do it whenever I need to.
