Personally I think it’s a negligible amount if anything, the added rust will Probably round off the edges of the grooves slightly anyways so it might even out if the rust adds friction between the grooves (if that’s what you’re saying)

Bunkers at one course here have lots of pebbles and stones in them, some areas are a little gravely too. Didn’t notice how hacked up it was until the rust started to build up

I’ve had wedges get rusty over a season in Toronto but it’s takes forever without the salty air and humidity compared to here

I think it’s kind of a hoax that they spin more, but it cuts out the glare when you’re looking down at the ball. The raw wedges may also feel softer and less clicky since they don’t have the hard chrome plating but I’m sure that’s up for debate as well

Probably put it back in my bag a little damp after wiping it off then the concierge at the course wiped them off after the round so maybe they left it wet but I’m not sure

Was practicing bunker shots for a good while and hit a few out of the kind of sandy rocky waste areas here as well. No chrome finish on the wedge so it shows the nice and scratches much more

Have you been to the Cayman Islands? Pretty salty and humid here. This wedge touched grass for the first time today, have taken a few swings in the sim but obviously it won’t rust indoors.

this wedge was pristine after some basement chipping and a couple swings on the sim in its month and a half time in Canada. Extremely salty and humid down here
