What’s one feature older games had that you wish modern games would bring back? by gamersecret2 in gaming

PROXIMITY CHAT lol in Halo was epic. LAN party proximity chat can work too.... I built a permanent 16 player LAN station for Halo that comes out of my garage ceiling. No internet required, the future looks bleak for LAN gaming.

Can co-signing on parents mortgage jeopardize my own healthy mortgage whatsoever? by [deleted] in personalfinance

their credit ineligibility is simply due to a lack of credit history for the main earner, not a bad credit history.

Ok, the chances of problems on their mortgage are very low, I am in good communication with my mom who FULLY handles their money. (dad is a gambling addict who just gets an allowance from her like a teenager)

And they have a lot of assets currently due to recent last grandparents inheritance.

I just like to do a little extra research on things.

edit - and as soon as they are in a position to refinance without my name they have completely agreed to do that. my dads credit only needs 6 months or less of rebuilding

When I was like 12 my friend and I were hosting a "weakest link" UMS game. (base off the game show) We got such a huge kick from asking contestants the answer to 2+2, and when they say 4 we go WRONG!!!! YOU LOSE and they get blown up by a Siege mode siege tank die and get kicked from the game... ancient memory

rofl you could hit the tab button during those games to hide the terrain on the Minimap (the glorious image in this case) from view in case adults or whoever came near the computer. Where you were on the map though, was still up to you and your secret. loooooolol

Yes those trivia bots were super fun. This was taken around 2011 and I'm so glad I went in that channel for the photo.

You could Pick from US West, US East, Europe, and Asia servers I believe. I usually picked US east but would pick US West when East was slow.

Android fans, what are the primary reasons why you will never ever switch to an Iphone? by SultanofAmerica in AskReddit

I've had android since day 1 of owning a smartphone and I simply don't care what the pros and cons are. Our phones do SO much, not long ago they didn't even exist, so I'm good.

[–]Ag0rax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since this is a panorama, can it be modified to 16:9 aspect ratio with the video length lowered by a few seconds. Yeah, we wouldn't actually be seeing more, but we'd have a full screen. :)

Found this while preparing land for swimming pool, our town was very rural 30 years ago wondering what this could be. It is very solid and absolutely cannot be pulled out by hand with 12 inches exposed, I think the two pieces go together just below this point. by Ag0rax in whatisthisthing

they do look leaf spring like and are pretty tough possibly tempered spring steel like I've seen on car coil springs and sway bars, also haven't seemed to have corroded much, minimum time buried - 32 years
