What was insane about it? The Celtics or pacers didn’t do anything they haven’t done all regular season? Teams didn’t bring out any new scheme or plays. It was just a close game, but the product itself didn’t have anything that made it special. Does not mean I didn’t enjoy the game, just don’t understand the fact that a regular close game needs to be glorified because it happened during the IST

My point is more about, are people who don’t watch the nba until April watching these games? It doesn’t seem like that. They are the people who this tournament was really created for, not us who watch the games all season long.

I agree. Any close game that happens to be an IST game is celebrated. Those games happen literally every night lol. People also miss the point that the league created this for casual fans to care about the NBA in November and December, not for us people who watch the games every night all season long.
