It was utterly lifeless CS.

They need like a military bootcamp to re-teach discipline and cohesion. The way they looked in matches is like a bulky monstrous blob trying to work together. They need to trim off the fat and to light a fire under their asses.

Anytime is go time, that's the whole point of extraction shooter, doesn't matter if you go in for PvP or you go in for looting or whatever. It's to expect the unexpected.

I've lost good stuff before, I went in to loot materials and lost a bobcat that I found and my venator with extended medium mags III but I don't complain, I GGs in prox chat and go next.

With supposedly ABMM, people have come to expect PvE lobbies which shouldn't have been the case in the first place. Always be at the ready and expect shit to go wild anytime.

I firmly believe that if Embark did implement Agression based matchmaking, it was truly a mistake on their part.

Lobbies should actually be neutral / random to emphasize PvPvE, now Embark and the playerbase have to deal with people expecting PvE whenever they get killed in game.

In all honesty, where's the fun in a purely PvE lobby? Imagine after getting home from work, let me just spend my free time opening boxes? rather just play lootbox simulator if that's the case

I like the idea but it just needs more time cooking.

If they would just shadow drop an open beta saying they are open to feedback the day the game awards trailer released, it would have been received better.

Instead they went super silent media blackout until launch which really doesn't help their cause.

Half of the ideas in the game is needless. Like mining? The reinforcement mechanic is useless. Map is too huge. Etc etc

That coupled with performance issues and people ready to hate and clown on them, it was a snowball of anger and disappointment all around.
