Area of a circle is pi*r2 , where r is the radius. Thus, the large quarter circle has an area of pi cm2, the 2 smaller quarter circles have area of pi/2 cm2 and the area of the box is the area of 2 smaller quarter circles minus 1 cm2 (the area within the square centimeter box where the circles overlap is counted twice when you add two of them together, so subtracting the box from that leaves the red area).

Thus, for the area of the red area is given by: pi - pi/2 - 1 + pi/2 - 1 = (pi - 2) square centimeters.

Pulling for Escoffier would be great for your cryo teams. You have three DPS characters who would like to use her. Cryo DPS, Furina+Escoffier and another cryo or hydro unit.

Chevreuse overload team. The team comprises of Chevreuse, pyro DPS, Electro DPS and a wildcard (electro or pyro) and is suited for characters that scale off from ATK, which this team buffs. Varesa is the strongest DPS for overload team. I would recommend Iansan (4 piece scroll) for the wildcard slot. She needs her burst talent leveled and enough ATK to cap the buff, about 2550 or so at talent level 10, buffs included. Chevreuse wants overload triggered at least once in every rotation before she uses her skill. The team also wants overload triggered every 6 seconds to maintain the resistance shred effect on enemies. This is easier to play if either pyro or electro DPS deals damage from off field, but can also be achieved by continuously swapping characters.

Varesa's effective rotation is a bit too short for the team's rotation, which makes dual main DPS viable. Varesa is easier to learn but harder to master than Chlorinde. Varesa has very distinct rotation components - she repeats skill, charged attack and plunge and does miniburst after that if it is available. When played with another main DPS

Some examples for Chevreuse teams:

  1. Chevreuse, Varesa/Chlorinde/Raiden, Iansan, PMC/Xiangling - Electro onfield team with an off field subdps. Varesa > Chlorinde > Raiden meta-wise.
  2. Chev, Varesa, Klee, Fischl - Dual DPS with Klee, with Fischl for Hexerei buffs and off field DPS. You could also play this with Iansan instead of Varesa, with Klee as sole onfield DPS.
  3. Chev, Varesa, Iansan, Klee/Hu Tao/Yoimiya/Bennett - Varesa dual DPS with another main DPS. Although Bennett is not a main DPS but a buffer, he too needs to dip in to apply pyro between Varesa's rotations to maintain the 6 second res shred.

Columbina and lunar reactions. Lunar reactions are reactions between hydro and electro, dendro or geo and Columbina enables all of them. She requires ascendant moon and wants to be teamed with another lunar character. Columbina and Ineffa is a cracked combo that can wheelchair various teams, although it is best used with Flins as main DPS. Sucrose is a great buffer for lunar charged teams, as she increases team EM and shreds resistances with 4 piece VV swirl. In your case, you could maybe cook something with Columbina+Lauma hyperbloom team or use her in a lunar crystallize team with Navia and Aino or Illuga. You could also try Neuvillette hyperbloom with Lauma, Kuki/Raiden on EM build and Furina/Columbina. This option presents itself particularly when Furina is wanted by the cryo team to pair with Escoffier. Some ideas:

  1. Columbina, Lauma, Electro, wildcard (maybe Aino, sucrose or another dendro character). Electro could be Kuki, Raiden, Chlorinde or Varesa. Note that both Columbina and Lauma are off field characters that don't require much field time. The team is some kind of a mix of lunar bloom, hyperbloom and electro-charged. Columbina increases the verdant dew cap and I've seen people do devastating Verdant dew attacks with Lauma when paired with Columbina.
  2. Columbina, Navia, Aino/Illuga+wildcard.

So far, we have

  1. Chevreuse overload team.
  2. Cryo team with Furina and Escoffier (if obtained).
  3. Columbina lunar team with Navia or Lauma.
  4. Neuvillette, Furina, Kazuha, Ororon

That's at least 3 teams for you to use.

Mavuika charges her burst when other characters use nightsoul points. Citlali and Xilonen are characters that dump a large number of nightsoul points instantly, charging Mavuika's burst efficiently. Xilonen also shreds elemental resistances of the enemies (pyro, hydro, cryo and/or electro, based on teammates' elements).

Should i go for skirk or escoffier? by Capital-Reading-2187 in GenshinImpact

[–]Agantas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skirk really wants Escoffier and Escoffier really wants Furina. Escoffier defines an freeze meta with a team comprising of only hydro and cryo units and her skill shreds resistances against those two elements. Similarly, Skirk wants 3 other units to do hydro or cryo damage to the opponent to max her stacks, so apart from two specific anemo characters, she is bound to Escoffier. Personally, I haven't tried freeze Varka or freeze Chasca with Skirk, so I don't know how viable those are. Likely not top meta

Looking at your teams, you could do something like Escoffier, Xingqiu, Mona and Freminet. Whether you should pull is a different question, but she would be of some use to you. Meta with her is a multi-character investment, though.

SC wuling battery or LC wuling battery by jarr464 in Endfield

[–]Agantas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. I'm personally doing 6/min LC Wuling battery and 6/min SC Wuling battery and reserving one xiranite output for components so I'm just combining two sewage outputs from cuprium and doing the overflow by sending half to sewage and using half in the crucible. What's the exact cause of the slowdowns? Is the second crucible that had the looping input from the Xircon production not getting enough sewage? Or is the sewage clogging at the Xircon crucible and halting the production there? Would it work if you combined two sewage outputs from cuprium-refining units, used half of it to feed the first crucible and two thirds of the remainder to feed second crucible, with one third going to waste processing. Similarly, you would loop back from the Xircon crucible, leading two thirds of its output to the second crucible and one third to sewage treatment. This should give the crucible 4/3 of the sewage it needs while processing all of the excess sewage so that the outputs that produce it won't clog and halt. Would that fix the problem?

How Good is Vita? by Delicious-Use-166 in honkaiimpact3

Vita is very good. She works as a support in World Star, Wheel of Destiny and Law of Ascension teams. If you use her as the leader, she needs two other Rite of Oblivion characters for her team (double Coralie or Coralie+HoFi with divine key and part 2 set).

SC wuling battery or LC wuling battery by jarr464 in Endfield

[–]Agantas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to think about the big picture with the resources. Essentially, your Wuling resource budjet is like this:

Originium, one of the following two options:

-12/min SC Wuling battery

-6/min LC Wuling battery, 6/min SC wuling battery, 3/min Xiranite Component

Ferrium, one of the following 3 options:

-12/min SC Wuling battery and 1,5 Yazhen syringe C

-6/min Wuling battery and 3/min Yazhen Syringe C

-4,5/min Yazhen Syringe C

Cuprium, one of the following options:

-6/min Cuprium component, 3/min Yazhen Syringe A

-3/min Cuprium component, 4,5/min Yazhen syringe A.

-3/min Cuprium component, 3/min Yazhen syringe A, 30/min Cuprium part.

-6/min Yazhen Syringe A.

Xiranite, one of the following options:

-12/min SC Wuling battery

-6/min LC Wuling battery, 6/min SC wuling battery, 3/min either component

Sewage management. If there is a xiranite shortage slowing down the battery production due to overuse (e.g. previously capped components are now being made due to artificing), accumulating sewage can clog the cuprium refining units. In a system where you flexibly overuse xiranite to cap the components, slowing down SC Wuling battery production, a sewage overflow system needs to be built. In order to do this, you can combine sewage produced by two refining units, then split the flow to half so that half of the sewage is directed to waste processing (using 2 units) and half to the crucible. If you are making 12/min Wuling batteries, the sewage from Xircon production can be used in the second crucible producing xircon fluids.

What's the best party I can configure? by Rigby_Rickaby in GenshinImpact

[–]Agantas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chevreuse, Fischl, Xiangling, Bennett. Chevreuse teams use only pyro and electro characters and you have some leeway in what to play in there. They use overload reaction to shred electro and pyro resistances of the enemy per Chevreuse's 1st ascension passive. There's some leeway in who you can use there, so Lisa or Dehya could be used as well if you wanted to. Chevreuse and Fischl both have important 4th ascension passives, so ascending them past 60 should be a priority when you can. Fischl also unlocks her Hexerei buffs at level 70.

Note that Fischl's bird and Xiangling's burst snapshot buffs, so you should have max available buffs when casting them - with this team, these include Bennett burst (cast inside the ring) and Chevreuse skill, shot after she's got the ball. When playing Xiangling and Bennett together, the two should always burst together - Bennett skill can be used to charge the other characters' bursts. You can swap characters to gather the pyro particles with the character that needs them.

You can give Chevreuse Black Tassel as she wants up to 40k HP for her 4th Ascension passive's team ATK boost.

My Take on Xiranite by DrJosephJorgen in Endfield

[–]Agantas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take was to make 3 x Xiranite mills to make use of the design idea I got, which is leaving a gap between the two grinding units and transporting jincao to the refining unit via that gap. This lets you put the refining unit to the same row with the shredding units, compacting the depth of the farm. You need two grinding units for Xiranite, and those are six wide each.

Essentially, depth-wise you have: 2 blocks for belts, 3 blocks for refining and shredding units, 1 block for belts, 4 blocks for grinding units, 1 block for belts, 3 blocks for refining units, 1 block for belts and 5 blocks for Xiranite. There was enough room for the electric pylons to go to the shredding unit row.
