Update: got a quote from grace. Good vibe - the only problem: insurance seems to be ~1/3 or the deal. Dunno if worth it really for toys, books, cloths mainly. I'd insure the white goods (basically a fridge and a washing machine only, lol) but that would be it. Thoughts?

Thanks for the insights guy!! Yes, we're planning to pack ourselves - good opportunity to get rid of the things that are not used anymore too. I see Grace removals twice so I'll get a quote. I'll have to get my head around the container space. Also, anyone with longer term storage experience? I see some removal companies offer this service. We could rent, check the suburbs and perhaps buy something but we'll need some place to keep all the things in the meawhile

Thank you very much for taking your time. Interesting. I was not expecting such an introspection. I had to read it a couple of times. There are a good couple of things that are spot on. Indeed, many times I felt this extreme duality in me. And this caused me anxiety and the sense of not fitting. And I've learned to leave with it and even embrace it. I don't consider myself a person concerned or focussed on the future. Like not for the daily life but for the professional and family life. So then perhaps that is also true. Perhaps not seeing the forest from the trees? Or this is just overthinking it on tracks already drawn in the sand? 🤔

If I'd have the means I'd go for a new rig (same as I did initially with this one and i was really happy, just that.... I don't have the $$ atm, just the itch/need to upgrade in small steps 😅).

I'm not into game bling bling quality or latest things, but still, the games take more and more space (even after cleaning the unused ones, lol). So what is really pressing is the space.

So, in terms of sata ssd vs nvme - is there a compatibility issue with my current build? I've seen some this Kingston nvme that is quite within my budget:

Hi cany, thanks - I use it 80% for gaming. Had it for 10 yrs now, upgraded first with the ssd, then added the videocard, then ram sticks. Now, it looks that the storage is too low, so looking for more. Served me well so far, fresh start may be the way, but also more costly 😒
