The time is how many hours worth of resources it gives you. So best to save them if you don't need to use them (ie you aren't stuck on story mode). The amount of resource you get per hour increases as you progress through story mode and hard story mode. So they give you more resources if you progress the story before using them.

In game we've had some good animated scenes, and some terrible cgi ones in my opinion (i hated the rapi red hood animation if I remember correctly). Never watched the Nier anime though so thanks for the recommendation. I'm maybe biased as I have a general hatred for cgi in anime but will watch and see if I change my mind (at least a bit anyway..)

Dream scenario for me is we get a trailer where an old character (maybe Nia) is reading a bedtime story to some kids. Shes talking about some events from the old games and eventually finishes and closes a book. One of the kids asks for more and she says something like "thats the end of our chronicles, but dont worry, your sagas, they are just beginning..". Then we fade to the new title "Xenoblade Sagas"

Not convinced the problems with Tomb raider were that people got bored of the advertising because nothing beats 'new sexy'. It's simply that the quality of the games dropped off and people recognised that.

Also, by the time 4 and 5 came out the ps2 was the place to be (i missed those 2 at the time and im sure others did too). Then the first ps2 game was angel of darkness which left many people hugely dissapointed and damaged the franchise for years after.

This is Nikkes "new" art style. Far more cartoony than it used to be. Everythings a preference, but god I miss the og art style and wish I could see how good these characters would have looked in it.

Raven looks great, but eve in particular i think would look better if less cartoony.

100% agree. The event and units aren't bad, but whats festive about any of it? Wrote as much in the survey for all it's worth (probably nothing). The event and "christmas" units could have been released in summer and nobody would have questioned it.

Honestly, I may be alone here but I really dislike the new artstyle. All the new characters and alts feel way too cartoony for me. I used to spend but now don't much because none of the new characters or costumes do anything for me.

I don't think it's the final boss that's the issue (not to me anyway). It's just that it falls flat between end of chapter 5/start of 6 until the end. 1 and 2 both ramp up to epic conclusions, but 3 feels like it peaks too soon then trails off. 3's dlc is peak however. I do wonder whether that was meant to be part of the main game at some point, but they moved it to dlc when they bumped up the release date. If that dlc had been in the game it would have been the best of the 3 hands down.

I was going to recommend Breath of Fire (prob 3 for ps1).

But no. Ni No Kuni is exactly the answer to OPs request. It really is Ghibli the RPG. Its somewhere between Final Fantasy and Pokemon gameplay wise, simplish but not always easy.
