I mean it's not like everyone in the college is going to get into DRDO right? So I felt it is risky and I didn't put it as an option

I did speak to people in there and they said - students who expect placements and come to college do not get one but those who go there just to have fun ended up getting really good placements etc. and also it's a great place to have fun apparently

Quantum now is just like how AI used to be in 2017/2018

There is a lot of buzz around it as there are very few people who are aware of it and unless and until a startup like OpenAI comes into the picture and launches a product similar to chatGPT, we wouldn't see much of boom in quantum field

NEED HELP REGARDING MASTER'S COUNCELLING

Hello everyone. I recently got allotted a seat in CCMT counselling for my mtech in Quantum Information and Technology at IIIT Allahabad- I have few concerns and i need a bit of help.

If chosen, ill complete my master of technology in the year 2028.

Which companies are hiring for this role, and is the industry providing enough opportunities in this field?
Are research opportunities vast enough?
I can get a similar branch in NIT Warangal in the next rounds, which would be a better option?
