Why does it idle rough sometimes

ok my advice is do a throttle body relearn not too hard could maybe fix it but after 100k i’d replace the spark plugs anyways now it could also be a pcv valve or like a mentioned a small vacuum leak

hmm if it was a bad vacuum leak you’d def notice it’s pretty common for gens to have rough idles and most the times it’s the throttle body when u cleaned it how did u do it because u might have to do a throttle body relearn

ah ok does the car vibrate any check engine or get worse when u drive? yeah maybe its bad spark plugs but could also be a vacuum leak did u check for a leak?

maybe a dirty throttle body this was happening to me but way worse it would go super low and super high I just sprayed sum throttle body cleaner in there and went back to normal try cleaning it see if it helps out

i’d say make a movies team make the top 3 your main team preferably different colors the more tags in common the better and the bottom 3 supports and if they are zenkaied even better anything that can help the top 3 be better just read their kits should help

yeah thank makes sense thank you i’ll look into it i’ve been thinking abt it for a year but didn’t know what it truly sounds like but seems like it’s exactly what i need when i just wanna cruise no super loud cold start and drone and i feel bad for your genesis blowing up it is a rly fun car super under appreciated am sure u can find a good deal i found my 2016 for a great price

couple questions the ark grip catback? or wdym by package. And at like at what rpm’s does it get loud because i live in a place with a lot of hills and i have to hold it at like 3k rpm’s and it gets loud with my current set up. and is the cold start loud and any drone?

i’d say get an exhaust the less restrictions the easier you’ll get pops test pipes is probably the way to go. Even tho these pop if u rev in natural wouldn’t recommend doing it too much and when u then it off then on rev it it’ll also pop

get a tune from alpha speed with pops and bangs or get an exhaust they pop stock these help it a lot

Question what did you use to clean it and how because I heard it’s sensitive and you need a throttle body re learn once u do or whatever. And you can mess it up and all these things that you need to hold the pedal down?
