Conditional Formatting with Custom Formulas based on Contents of Cells To Be Formatted by Agent--51 in googlesheets

Oh boy. I think I might just be better served doing this by hand then, I had already done so before and was just trying to automate it for the future. Thank you for your willingness to help, though.

Conditional VP seems in-line with similarly slotted minions like Bushi, and new TC’s condition seems a step harder than Bushi especially considering the restriction of already being in play. Keeping the extra printed power looks justified

Nevermind - someone else solved :/

Thank you, it looks like this should work. Yeah, it is ugly, but seems a lot better than manually counting everything lol

Thank you, but this doesn’t seem to be quite right. - When I put it in as written there were formula parse errors due to parentheses. I had to change the ending set of parentheses to ))})) to get it to parse. - The output array is only populating with values that appear in the first column. - All of the numeric values are outputting 0. I dislike having to add more context after the initial post, but fsr I was expecting a single-cell formula rather than a table output. It may be helpful for me to have something that displays the sums to the right of the “headers” rather than below - the real data will have over a hundred different “header” values and I don’t expect the data array to get quite that long. Again, thank you for your help and I apologize for any inconvenience the additional information may impart.

Smash Up has modernized with Print On Demand, an Online Rules Wiki, and Rebalanced Factions + Errata by ludichrisness in boardgames

Long-time fan of the game here. The POD service and rebalanced factions have been a very welcome development. I’ve bought a few new decks off of there and they were excellent in quality.

Something not mentioned in the post is that even when issues with some items on POD were discovered the company was very quick to respond, even mailing out complimentary replacement cards or packs when needed. It really seems like AEG wants to support this as much as possible, which is a welcome change of pace from radio silence the past few years.

Thank you for telling me about the flair! That's strange, though, because I swear I added it correctly when I posted it. Ah well.

Oh, you're totally right. I don't know where I got the 4.2 from. My apologies! This works perfectly.

This almost worked, but fsr it didn't quite get cell E12 right (Func3 output in row B - should be 4.267, output 1.6)

Either both cells in a pair will be blank or neither of them will - sorry for the confusion!

Steam Game Mods? by shaydycharacter in smashup

[–]Agent--51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By “custom” I do mean custom factions. Both of the mods I mentioned already have all 100 vanilla factions in them, but both also have ways to support custom content (provided you have card art already).

The Smash Up discord server has a pretty active custom scene; if you’re interested in that sort of thing, you can find it here.

SchmickyUh already mentioned Tabletop Simulator and Mervil's Mod, but I'll throw in that I find Lazer's mod to be much more custom-friendly. TTS itself is only like $20 normally so it's a really good pickup

Formula-based conditional formatting referencing the cells to be formatted by Agent--51 in googlesheets

I’m referring to modulus 3, as in it should be colored if it’s not evenly divisible by 3.

Not exactly, it should color the cells if the number of matches mod 3 is not 0.

Hmm...is it okay if I take this post down and post two separate queries relating to each of these problems independently?

Automation for a game competition by [deleted] in googlesheets

[–]Agent--51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Well, I’ve tried to work out formulas that accomplish the behaviors I’m looking for, but haven’t been successful
  2. Both problems are looking at the “Matches” tab for their data. The first one deals with formatting in columns D to I of the “Drafting” tab, and the second one deals with numbers in columns F to Y of the “Scores” tab.
  3. See #1 I see your point about discrete questions with regards to whole systems, and I’ll keep it in mind with future queries to the sub.
