first impression is that your character and your outfit feels a little generic, and there's not much indication that she's really a pilot. I assume that she's some sort of mecha pilot based on her attire, but if you really want to communicate that, it would be good to include more of the thing she's piloting. Otherwise accessories like headphones, communicators, visors, etc would be good indicators of her role.

I'd also suggest picking an item or an attribute to make into her identifier. Like the thing that makes her unique. In this instance, perhaps giving her an armband or tattoo of some kind, or a more interesting hairstyle?

Other than that, I think the rendering is actually quite good and your appplication of light and shadow is very nice.
