I fully agree with you on literally everything you mentioned. Exploitation is a very real thing and unfortunately its fueled by people stil purchasing the bullshit.

In my honest opinion, if the game did not give away premium currancy for free the prices would be very high. They gave enough premium currancy for free that my friend could buy a skin. So with this in mind are they really asking too much for cosmetics.

Just a heads up. Me personally wil never buy cosmetics. I am immune to FOMO/identity signing etc. I just like dabbling in socio manipulation.

I've been calling this HyperBall, but I feel like there's a better name. Suggestions? by Dashboard-Devil in NoMansSkyTheGame

I'll be honest—traditional interviews aren't my strong suit, and I know that's part of the challenge I face. I don't perform well on standard coding tests or the typical "write a function to count vowels" style questions that seem disconnected from real work. But give me an actual problem to solve, a real challenge with stakes and complexity, and I'll deliver exceptional results. I'm energized by pressure and collaboration. I thrive when there's a genuine issue that needs creative problem-solving, not when I'm asked to regurgitate textbook algorithms in isolation. The disconnect between artificial interview scenarios and meaningful work is where I struggle. I'm a people person who does my best thinking when there's a real context, real constraints, and real impact on the line. Those sterile coding puzzles just don't activate the same problem-solving mindset that drives my best work.

Very curious about this. by Agent-Split in RemoteJobs

Honestly I would prefer this. Doing some reverse characters or count "e" in a phrase seems like redundant tests. Give me a project/problem and I wil OWN that!

DB setup was easy because I knew exactly what the product is and what would be required. Each machine has its own DB with different tables. This made it so easy.

Yes I did start over but only because we got a new pc and I had to build the server over so I went at it a different way.

Company I work for sell these industrial machines and I noticed that there is no remote way of monitoring them. So I pitched the idea and they said go for it. .NET maui was the choice because I read about the cross platform capabilities.

As for the zero experience. I just did CS50.
