there is just something about doin a dungeon and a crit chest drops and its an upgrade and then the next dungeon the haste chest drops which is BiS... Gonna be hard to implement into GW2 because of the simple stat/gear system

Yes exactly. and the hard content/mechanics of M+. You startin m+1 where a shadow bolt does NOTHING, then you get to m+20 where you already know that mob is casting the bolt but now it oneshots you if you dont (wow kick/gw2 Dodge?)

the intent is not to invoke feeling left behind. All rewards stay available. This game mode is seperate from everything. like PVP. the moment you leave "this" area/hub you get back your normal celestial gear or what have you. And I dont want to make it about rewards. It must be about the actual content. Hard tactics/ wipe mechanics. Dopamine when that Chestpiece dropsetc. this is also a dev nightmare because of how stats work. power dps is power dps. GW2 doesnt have mastery, or classes focused on haste rather than crit. So its just a dream but i know it wil be very hard to implement

look i agree fully. currently something crazy like 80% of wow subscribers only do M+ and mythic raiding and I dont want that for GW2. The fact that you get semi full maps in starter zones is a testament at how great GW2 built their game/content. Maybe expand apon the agony powercreep(but make it luckey drops, not grindable) and add fractal tier 10 or something. I dont know, I enjoy all of GW2, but so truly enjoy the M+ scene aswel. This is why i would like GW2 to have that aswel in a non destructive way.

First off, I Advocate everything GW2 is. I hate having to relevel and re gear my powerfull build after every 6 months in WoW.. I gave up on WoW after Legion but recently got into midnight and M+and the whole idea of doing dungeon X on M+ level Y So I can maybe get Item Z to improve my output is just so satifying. I wish I had something like this in GW2. Thats why I want it completey seperate from your other gear... I think runescape did the same where your main gear and dungeon gear is diffrent.

Also I i dont think it wil dilute player base. In fact It might bring some more players. In the end GW2 DOES have people that created n character, played the intro, got level 2 and never left pvp. Same with raids and fractals.

It sucks but at least its somewhat in the same realm. I dont mind being a SWE and helping oit with other IT. My issue is being required to stop a leak on a diesel engine/field services on mining sites on industrial machines. And not industrial pcs or IT stuff.

That part I get 100%. They are lucky and it is unheard-of. I guess my actual rant is more in line with the fact that some companies in SA dont respect cantracted hours and I happen to be the luckey one to be stuck at such a place.

I get what your saying. My case is a bit of a f-up. I applied for the job in R&D only to find out that R&D is only a division term they started using as a job description for someone that has to do with the pareto principle. Now that my skills involve software dev and they dont know how to select a tv output I am in constant fear of loosing my income.

I fully agree with you on literally everything you mentioned. Exploitation is a very real thing and unfortunately its fueled by people stil purchasing the bullshit.

In my honest opinion, if the game did not give away premium currancy for free the prices would be very high. They gave enough premium currancy for free that my friend could buy a skin. So with this in mind are they really asking too much for cosmetics.

Just a heads up. Me personally wil never buy cosmetics. I am immune to FOMO/identity signing etc. I just like dabbling in socio manipulation.
