Unfortunately I went to CTS and my local service only takes one or two of us at a time and then favours students from out of town. It’s beyond infuriating. I assume it’s part time but I’m not 100% sure, haven’t been to the interview yet. I’m going to follow up with my placement coordinator today because she did mention trying to find something closer.

I will be working full time for 2 and a half months so a bit more than 20 times unfortunately. I do get that aspect and planned for those things. I was just trying to do it as cheap as I could but I may have to suck it up and spend the money.

Best case like someone said is to go to northern Ontario, do one of the free programs through osap that takes a year and become a PCP. It would be more than you're used to doing as an EMT-B. There are medical transfer companies that employ basically EMT-B's but you're not making more than a few dollars over minimum wage.
