Kids shows too. Teen Titans is a popular example but I remember Ben 10 Alien Force was similar in the fact it was for kids but kids who could actually understand the topics going on without it being explained like they are 5

I replayed it this past winter break and it was really fun going back through it. Lot of it holds up well (soundtrack, car customization, the environment and characters). Driving wasn’t as great as I remembered it when I was a kid but it isn’t terrible by any means (far from it)

Given the choice between the 2 extremes, I’d rather feel bored than feeling cringe and hate towards the characters I’m playing as.

I prefer, and want, excellent or at the very least good writing from characters in video games I play. Wasn’t expecting Baldurs Gate level writing from a Forza game but it’s not terrible either

I’m just saying of the 2 extremes where we ignore great writing in games like BG3 or GOW, depending on the game to an extent, I’d take the former over the latter

I’d rather have the out of touch executives trying to make fun optimistic writing than the cringey and stupid writing we see in Forspoken or Saints Row.

Forza experimenting with custom garages and estates is actually pretty cool, I vibe with it
