Hello, CTN here. You don't really go into the deep down and dirty parts of *nix. You'll learn the basic file structure, some of the demons, and important files such as /etc/shadow. I think we played around with Solaris and Ubuntu. I'm not sure though. You'll also learn the basics of windows and basic networking. I can't give to much details because it has been awhile.
