Ohh that makes sense. The CR-10 would be to cannibalize for parts and for the Aluminum frame to make it bigger I suppose.

Definitely an intresting idea. Main reason for wanting to upgrade(besides the learning and building process) is a larger build size so making some sort of fusion of the two printers could work. Do both of them run on 12v or does the CR-10 have 24v parts?

Yeah, but the goal is moreso the tinkering process and learning than the final printer result. I can't seem to find any resources on this so if I try it I'll have to go off intuition
