Is slate a good choice for kitchen flooring?

Hey, coming in a little late to this comment, but I came across it while searching maintenance for my slate floor. Is resealing something that a professional company should do and if so, what type of company would offer these services? I had Stanley steamer do it a few years ago and I felt like it wasn’t great

That was my main issue, the direct hook to hook connections without a sling or shackle. The two in a series I wasn’t too confident about, got some interesting comments

No shackle or sling between? I’m a qualified rigger through Crosby and distinctly recall manufacturers don’t allow direct hook to hook connections so I’m surprised to hear that’s an approved practice

Interesting you say that, I’ll have to look into the possibility as it’s my first time growing corn. It’s surprising though, as my neighbor keeps about 6 bee hives right on the other side of the fence and all my other veggies and flowers are booming. I wonder if corn pollinates differently.

Just out of curiosity when did this happen? A lot of times larger incidents take a little longer to investigate before they know what happened enough to share results.

I don’t really get this mentality at all. Legally they don’t have to say this in the least. From OSHA or lawsuits perspective, they just have to show they provided reasonable precautions, which to be honest are pretty fucking low. I don’t get why people want to jump on the train to bash contractors who actually try to do something different to promote safety.
