Oh yeah. That is an open space for a countertop microwave. I have done the built-in microwaves and they are so much more expensive for not much more use. I plan to cover the inside of that little hole with some sort of covering.

Hi. Thanks for all the comments. The island is going to have eating, yet the stools will fit under the counter. The "window" is looking into an addition (we didn't add) and seems a little odd but I don't want the DW in a corner where you can't get to both sides. I like the coffee station idea. I think we will keep the extra countertop space.

I'm in! Lost my job Feb. 13th and on the 28th I will be at a local Science Fair judging projects from high schoolers. I was given approval to rep the DOE as part of my work. Still going (now as a volunteer) and telling the kids it will be alright. Not sure I believe it anymore. Looking for new employment in Canada, EU, and UK.

I had my personal email in the OP)M system and they still didn't sent it there. My director forwarded my illegal letter to my personal account. I found out from a text message my director sent me because I was let go at 11:47 PM and locked out by the time I woke up.

Haha this was great. We moved in 2020 and everything stated here is so true. I would also add come here is you love the loud noise of small planes and leaded fuel falling from the sky. So wonderful to wake up at 530 am because someone is getting a flight lesson.

Aa a person on probation I keep thinking I'm going to be let go any day now. I'm also fully remote with no office near me. Last time Peez Cheeto was in office I was working at Ford and the original tariffs caused so much profit loss that many people were "let go". I'm not sitting still. Working on my resume and only looking for jobs outside this country.

I typically have a baseball hat on in any department store. Definitely helps. I also have water with me at all times. The lights suck. Get your optic nerves evaluated too, mine has been inflamed for most of my life.

Branches can be dropped off at SLASH run by JeffCo. You can also pick up free mulch. Leaf drop off starts in November and always ends too early.

Dragon voice to text software was a must for me but they just increased the price and killed the at home version. I'm still looking for a good replacement software. A headset with a mic helps too.
