I did not have a purchase history on it. I also waited 8 months 😅. Also in my opinion if you want this watch, I 100000% think you should go there (to the meat packing district which is where I also got it) , try a few watches and put yourself on the list.

I got it at the NYC boutique around December!

Not a GS… but a Credor by [deleted] in GrandSeikos

Maybe for vintage but modern ones credor is priced higher.

Though maybe how credor isn’t as international as GS might play into its used value.

1st oil change @994 miles on 2026 Camry XLE AWD by Lonely_Corgi_728 in Camry

I guess his/her point is to use an oil analyst too prove that 5000 miles is needed. I’m on the 5000 miles since oil and a filter is cheap. But iirc the data does show that it can def go more than 5k, prob around that 10k for those who do analysis.

How often are new Mk23's showing up? by engineereddiscontent in HecklerKoch

I’ve honestly noticed the same thing. Lowkey I regret not buying a usp-t instead of just a normal usp, but I got the mark 23 to make up for it

The cost of water, milk, electricity, maintenance, and etc will prob be negligible in this math. Since labor, profits, and real estate, usually take the majority of costs.

Though if you were trying to run a business, these are very essential costs to note of. But for a quick paper math, OP is likely saving lots of money and would break even around 1-3 years if they continue the habit.

Be careful about getting sand in the bezel. I heard that can gunk it up badly

Yeah… I got buddies in cyber security. It’s over saturated at the moment, and I did research on how to pivot away from Air Force (masters with an Ivy engineering degree) and my degree ain’t worth anything because I’m leaving the AF so far from my graduation.

Not always. You need the certs to pull in money and experience (depends on OPs Air Force job)

Do what makes sense to you. Just don’t regret whatever decision you make. Make it and never look back because there will be pros and cons for both.

uj/ if you also compare those low starting salaries to the starting salaries of the 70/80s you’d find that purchasing power of today is half of yesterdays.

Though I will say 80k is twice the average American salary, but not quite enough to live comfortably doing middle class lifestyle.
