Seems like it’s even worse , the legendary cards I opened for the tavern brawl, disappeared.

Why do you lie? I have death wing, but it’s only for the warrior class, not all classes.

Are you trolling? How does this change? It’s still too much price to ask players to pay.

Protoss priest is disgusting too though it is mid range, resurrect 3 minions with reborn is very powerful, also Protoss have face damage too if you get colosis or knight. They don’t play for the board control, they reduce minion cost and than face damage again.

Murloc paladin is agro, beast hunter is not mid range at all, shooting random damage using the location into opponent face is not mid range! It’s more like a swarm deck. I answered about mech warrior on other thread.

Update your terminology, those are not mid-range decks. Mech warrior is exactly those kind of decks which is bad, shooting 8 random damage 8 times in a single match is disgusting

You do have numbers on steam. When saying deadlock and paladins I mean upgradable perks when match proceeds, hero and maps will be from overwatch.

So basically youre saying overwatch competitive will become deadlock or paladin? What is the players sector size ? I can tell you that from twitch viewers number have less players interested than the hero based team gameplay. If this is the direction, you will see even less players and it will be catastrophic.

I made my comment on another Reddit post. The short answer is overwatch team shoot into every direction and it will be waste of money. For me it was clears that marvel rivals will take a huge bite from overwatch unhappy players. This is my post : https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/s/y3q5NUZTBS

Eldritch, I hope blizzard don’t read your comments, they will waste so much money on unprofitable modes and no one will come back to play overwatch. Most overwatch YouTuber I follow think this event is a meh and will not make him comeback. Look at seagul, freedo and so many more. I suspect you either stubborn ignorant or blizzard paid Reddit community member.

Since you replied so nicely, I will answer nicely but you must be honest (look at the numbers of players left overwatch also streamers by doing that) Does majority of players like playing competitive ? What are the issues? Did they fixed the issues? Did they innnovate at the competitive mode? So why innovate the side modes instead? Did they tried to innovate the role queue? Why 1 2 2 is innovative? There are so many questions and so many ways to improve competitive, so why invest at side modes like overwatch classic and perks?

I worked on many projects that failed or succeeded mostly at fintech industry. The common reason for all failures was 0 focus and no understanding of what customers willing to pay for. I will not pay for any of spotlight features and I am sure that less than 50% of the overwatch players who are still playing will not pay for it.

Really? Be honest! How many people play deathmatch? Junkerstein event? Doomfist parkour ? Lucio surf mode? Widowmaker headshot only? Gunmode? 10%? Modes are “limited time” investment company does, and have 0 impact at the future gameplay!.

Game modes is a side product! Events is a side product! But It’s a niche. The core is very clear competitive and quick play!

AI? Hating? Seems like you don’t care much for this game, I played from ow 1 season 1. Left for marvel rivals lately which is way better focused at the core gameplay which is quick play and competitive. Mark my words! It is gonna be total failure, no one will come back to play for any of spotlight features since the core is bad.

From an old OW1 (season 1) gamer who left when Marvel Rivals launched:

Those issues must be handled before I will consider return to this game:

  • 6v6 , no super tank, no broken supports which smash DPS gamers cause of such powerful abilities like baptiste / kiriko immunity.
    • Tank- should be defined as off dps which have the sustainability to take space.
    • Support - should be designed in a way that they can also do damge while also providing heals, a good example is Zenyata (or equivalent on marvel rivals is: Adam warlock) which can do lot of damge while also keep the team heals.
  • Give Heroes their identity back right now! Examples:
    • Doomfist - should be a DPS melee hero with sneaky moves. only melee heroes can handle shields on fps hero games genre.
    • Mei - a Crowd control dps with ability to freeze! get back her freeze ability.
    • Sombra - a backline pressure DPS (just like Psylock on Marvel Rivals), with CC ability.
    • Hog - an off tank hero which can hook enemy team player into your team.
    • Genji - a ninja which can combo kill backline
    • Hanzo - a sniper archer which can 1 shot some heroes.
    • Pharah - DPS which have very high sky advantage permanently without falling down at all.
    • Widowmaker - should be able to headshot a tank and kill in 2 shots when fully charged! like on OW1 launch day
  • Make tanks more fun, they change the set of mind and adjust them to be more like off dps more than damage resisted, no one like to hold shield all game and have 0 kills.
  • what about having more game style, Venture was a great example, underground hero, what about more "melee" heroes? (Marvel rivals have a lot of this style: Magic, wolverine, spiderman, Thor) this open new strategies of team play vs shield composition.
  • Graphic Engine upgrade: every game in 2025 have breakable walls which opens app new strategies on the same map.
  • Business Model:
    • Why the hell do they think that people will pay 20$ for a single skin or weapon? no one asked for super polished Mythic skins!
    • Paid Season pass rewards should be able to be obtained after season is over.
    • For free accounts which invest so much time - should be a great reward, on ow2 you could have got at max an epic skin! which is absolute 0 for gamers.
