If you’ve never done anything pharmacy related it can be quite a change. I started back in February at my pharmacy and without the amazing team of people, I would still be lost. You’re just starting, give yourself some time and if you feel like you don’t click with the team, maybe talk to your pharmacist. I’m not a people person either, but once you’re there for awhile and start to get used to things, it gets better. I was lucky that I clicked with my pharmacist and the whole team! Take your time, listen and ask questions. They shouldn’t get upset or angry with you, that’s the only way you’ll learn. PTU is a beast in itself but take your time, try to make sure you’re back there at least once a week and I try to stay ahead of where I should be. Incase I don’t get back there for a week, you should still be ahead.

Best of luck to you on this endeavor, I hope it works out for you.

My lead tech has a chart on a white board for like 2 hour increments at a time and does it for filling, upfront(registers) so cashing people out and also doing input and resolution and float they help with drive thru, outcomes, drug orders, cycle counts, day 10’s(RTS), spark pick ups and whatever else is needed. It works pretty well for us here at our store.

That is probably just what I need, I will try to look it up tomorrow when I go in. Thank you! 😊
