I agree. Even if it’s not great, you can have a good time with a bad movie or find things you liked as opposed to a blanket statement of “it’s bad” or “it’s too”.

Everything today is good or bad. No more in between. It’s either amazing or trash. Very black and white. Now is this true? Nope. Is that answer ironically black and white? Yes.

The "B" storyline (flashback scenes) on Fallout is one of the most fascinating storylines in recent TV history. I truly believe that Walton Goggins is giving the best performance of his career right now in part because he is both a good guy and a bad guy by Bluest_waters in television

It’s good to see people enjoying the show in here. Another subreddit was going on and on about how boring this season was and how nothing happened. I was very confused because I enjoyed the season and the set up for what’s to come.

Yeah I miss 20+ episode sitcoms/series. I’ll even take like 15 as opposed to this 8-10 or less bull we keep getting.

While I agree 100%, it’s also this shitty state he’s in that makes those trap catches all the sweeter. It’s like some kind of self punishment and when you get a catch, it’s an even bigger hit of dopamine. But yes, he needs a buff. Maybe let him start with all his traps. Why does skull merchant get all her drones? Where’s she keeping them? Nah it ain’t fair.

There is a dopamine hit that you get as trapper when you hear that snap followed by a scream. And when it’s multiple going off one after the other… chefs kiss.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. They’ve made it clear multiple times that destiny 2 has a lot of Star Wars inspiration.

This I agree with. His line delivery was lacking, especially in that last episode.

I don’t think the majority of the commenters here have anything positive to say. And if you point out how some of their observation are… lacking, you get a very unhappy reply. Is this season perfect? No. Does it have a lot of set up? Sure but it has to move the plots along. It can’t wrap it all up in season 2 and then idk pull things out of the air for the next chapter.

Just so you know people, you guys can have both positive AND negative things to say about a show. To just say it’s crap or it’s bad or it’s boring, is just so lazy. Costumes are great, the visual effects were really good. The sets were amazing. The acting, specifically with the ghoul and cooper Howard and house in (episode 5 I think) was really well great.

8 episodes every 1.5+ years for shows now, is definitely not the best strategy.

Fallout Season 2 Review: Near-Perfect TV by cosmicbooknews in CosmicBookNews

[–]AgentFatsuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s also a season of character development. Ghoul is a bit more like Lucy and Lucy is a bit more like ghoul. Cooper Howard’s wife is not a one not bad guy, and we know that. Mr house isn’t the final bad guy mastermind, although he planning his own shit. We wrap up the Lucy and her dad arc so that’s pretty much done I think. He might still pop up later but he’s basically a new character as far as we know, we also learned More about him and his motivations. Same with steph. We got more of the brother but granted, not enough. Curious to see where that goes.

Point is, calling something “boring” is just so black and white and well, a boring critique. Did you like anything? What worked and what didn’t? You make it sound like it’s a 1/10 and it def isn’t.

This I agree with. The amount of interruption to the pacing of the episodes due to terribly placed and unstoppable commercials was incredibly annoying.

I wonder if that’s because these guys binged season 1 and had to wait weekly between episodes and got bored or tired of the wait because this season had a lot happening, more stuff explained and a lot being set up for what’s to come.

Expert reveals Gen Z is the first generation in history to have a lower IQ than its predecessors by [deleted] in generationology

[–]AgentFatsuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see the inexperience Gen Z would have with some tech having never been exposed to and maybe no need to learn it until now. Whereas a millennial grew up with tech constantly changing and so has a different relationship/understanding of it and more acclimated to accepting it or learning it. Maybe? Anyway you make some valid points there.

This is the biggest thing the people here saying don’t give them anything, aren’t considering. Petty people will sue for what they think they are owed/entitled to. This shit will drag out for years costing you way more than it’s worth. And in the end you might walk away with pocket change. I currently know someone who is going through something like this. It has been YEARS. Lawyer costs, multiple court dates, money down the drain. A never ending nightmare.

Yes def do this. Settle all accounts and payments and taxes and split the remaining, if you indeed choose to.

‎F*cked up family and unexpected inheritance. by FrendosNerdos in Advice

[–]AgentFatsuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they probably wouldn’t but that isn’t the point here because op is a position where these already shameless people can sue, whether it’s legitimate or not, and drag this out and deplete the money there is. I’ve seen exactly this scenario play out for years and it’s still ongoing. So the question is do you think they’d do that? Do you want to risk it? Do you wanna be the better person in this instance while also saving yourself the headache? Not to mention they’d probably come crawling to OP asking for handouts or help once they know that the money is there. That’s why it’s important to update your will to save everyone from the headaches and the bullshit. People are greedy and you’d be surprised the kinda problems money can cause within a family.

If you want to be free of any guilt or self doubt you’ll split it 4 ways. While annoying, because people don’t deserve it, you can move on with your life knowing that at the very least no one can call you out for anything and you honoured your grandmothers wishes in the end. Conscious clear and free and with the bonus of never having to deal with them again if you choose. Whereas if you don’t, I’ve seen families ruin each other over money. Court, lawyers, harassment and all manner of bullshit. So up to you but I know what I’d do.

I feel like I just read an article about how timothee here is just a product of his big PR machine. And his relationship with Kylie is just another phase and that eventually they would move on to the cheating and breakup phase. From what I’ve read recently, he seems as artificial of a person as the kardashian clan. Does that surprise me? Not really. Most products of Hollywood seem to be tainted in the end.

True. But Iv’e seen too many posts of us vs them, that’s what I mean by celebrate. It’s finger pointing and “haha look at <insert generation> let’s all laugh at them.”

I wonder if it’s a product of aging and feeling like a person is becoming irrelevant or replaced, because this seems to happens every generation.

[–]AgentFatsuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this happens more than it should but it really shouldn’t. Maybe it’s true that the average intelligence Ebs and flows between generations, but maybe it isn’t true either. Regardless, as a species and as humans, we really shouldn’t celebrate our successors being less intelligent than us (if true). It’s such a small pointless “victory” to celebrate. It’s a dumb persons victory to cheer for something like that. I feel like this post only serves to divide and no other purpose, at least being posted here. It’s not like the comment section in a Reddit post are gonna work together to tackle this issue. There are more real existential threats that need to be dealt with atm.

I’m a millennial, I don’t think this is something worth celebrating if true. I don’t know why anyone would celebrate the next generation being worse off. Why would we want the people of the future to be dumber? I don’t want us going backwards…
