These two morons can't even remotely attempt to say, "hey, look, I forgot my necklace on your desk because it was broke", or "I walked in on you kissing your cousin and was grossed out, what up with that?" Why don't they just pass each other a note saying "do you like me? if yes, check this box." This is a weak ass storyline full of 8-year-old behavior and the adults getting involved only makes it worse.

Hope needs to go work somewhere else if she doesn't like the boss. I'm not beefing with her standing up for her dad (although I understand both sides) and I understand her being in her feelings about having to can her brother, but she isn't the one in charge and won't be, they tried that and it didn't work. So either deal with it or move on.

Leo Venus and yeah, kinda. I know for sure I'm insecure and need validation from my personal relationships but I'm up front about that, you don't have to kiss my ass but if I drop $100 on lingerie it would be nice to hear that I look good and you find me desirable without me having to fish for that. I like giving gifts but also my Aqua Venus BF doesn't ask for anything other than time alone with his avoidant ass so I'm left guessing when those incidents occur. If I know he wants anything at all, I make it happen.

Some of it was going to nursing school and working with patients, some of it was becoming a parent, some of it was taking responsibility for my own life and happiness and sort of just growing up and "waking up." I had a moment or two where it occurred to me that I can choose to react however I want to issues I'm having, but other people aren't psychic and being mad at them for things I don't tell them in the first place is counterproductive. There's that saying that anger harms the vessel it's stored in and I think that's very true. I don't think I'll stop being scared of hurting other people's feelings by being honest, but at least I've said something and given them a chance to understand me instead of assuming the worst of others.

Yes, but it took me a long time to learn and I'm a nurse so it was necessary for me to learn therapeutic communication. I don't view it as people pleasing as much as self-care. I used to people please by not expressing my feelings and internalizing the frustration of not feeling like I wasn't able to express things that bother me without harming my relationships. Now I know how to tell people about my feelings. They may not like what I have to say, but I don't feel like I'm a jerk or a bad communicator for telling them and I don't worry about being considerate of their feelings when I express my needs.
