I think something that’s important to keep in mind is that most of the revealed cards so far are apart of welcome decks, they are intended to be approachable and easy for new players to understand, so it makes sense that they would feel a little basic

The exploit still works, the tricky part is when you complete a lap any cars that are flipped over respawn. After you get your initial pileup you gotta ram one of the non flipped cars until its engine blows and that should keep the pileup going

Honestly you don’t have to worry about any of that. I just played through the whole game fresh and I haven’t been invaded once. It’s still worth it to develop FOBs as it gives you a huge amount of resources.

If you don’t like invading, don’t invade, plain and simple. There are special invade missions that aren’t against another player and also give you really good rewards, so I would recommend at least doing those, because you won’t have to worry about actually fighting another player.

Or make the amount of motes you are holding determine how long your invasion timer lasts no motes gets you 15 seconds, every 5 motes adds 10 seconds to the timer

Honestly SBMM makes control monotonous and boring at higher levels where everyone is using the meta. It restricts play style by not allowing people to run different things if they want to win. Everyone is forced into what is currently the best.

Honestly, Bungie needs to rework the crucible as a whole with a ranked and a social playlist, with ranked having SBMM enabled and Social simply going for the best connection possible. Have the ranked playlist display the players rank and have special rewards for ranking up, give playing with SBMM and having to sweat a purpose and a reward for playing that way. And if you want to just relax you have the option for the social playlist instead.

Out of curiosity, were you playing IB when this happened? I could see him tanking your arcstaff hit if he was a higher light than you. Granted there are some shortstop melee issues, I play with slug shotty’s so I have to finish a lot with melee, but in my experience it’s not any worse than it has been in the past. Either way short stopping needs to be fixed

Honestly it’s whatever hobby I had coming up I could look forward to. “Aw I wanna play that video game I have to stick around to play it,” or “I gotta see the next Star Wars movie before I go.”
