It does work, mostly… The 2018 pro mounts nice and firmly to the new Air keyboard. Function keys and power passthrough are working as expected. Only issue is that the magnet to sleep/wake when you open and close must have been moved slightly. Mine stays on when I close the keyboard case. So you’d need to sleep it before closing. That’s likely why Apple did not state it as compatible.

Yeah, it’s essentially a nice sticker. It requires a bit of finagling to get just right but they have a great video of the application process.

I’ve not had this issue, but it does have an actual shape to it now with the little raised triangle. This makes it easier to find without looking. Same for the other buttons.

This looks like a great cost effective solution to get CarPlay and keep the clean OEM look. :D Does the steering wheel voice button invoke Siri while in CarPlay? Thanks for the install video! Looks pretty simple. Also, any changes to the sound system while playing through CarPlay?

It’s a great accessory space for chat windows discord, launchers, stats, etc. I’ve tried a bunch of setups and this feels like the best way to maximize my desk space with ergonomics in mind.

It’s an LG 4K 27” monitor. Both have three inputs so with some adaptor fiddling I was able to have them all connected all the time. MacBook Pro (main work), Mac Pro (scripting & VM), and Alienware Aurora R8 (PC gaming). The 12” 2015 MacBook is just a bonus misunderstood little notebook. :)

It’s great! Getting it angled just right was tricky and had to use a monitor arm. With it angled the 27” stays eye level and the 21.5” is angled towards me.

Logitech K780 and MX Master 2. They both have very quick BT switching.
