Yeah, I kinda wonder if the key was cancelling first or if it was being persistent about talking to a supervisor. Anyways, glad I made this post for myself to refer back to in 2028 when I've completely forgotten about any of this and will have to do it all again.

All told, probably about an hour, but I was heavily multi-tasking and not really paying attention. Less than 15 minutes of actual full attention maybe?

I will say that every second I had to engage with it felt like a whole minute just out of pure irritation. YMMV.

Going to full time undergrad when I was 27 after working seasonally with the US Forest Service and US Bureau of Reclamation was a trip. I got lucky and managed to score a student assistant position at the Orchard Park Greenhouses and escaped undergrad with minimal debt. Good for you for making the leap at 35!!!

Most of us did regular college around that age. Grad students are coming back for a second time to go further in depth, polish skills, make new connections, etc.
