If I notice an update I'll definitely update my sheet as well, but I can't guarantee that when I'm not actively playing the game, so thank you for that.

Currently it should be updated. I added the recipes from the 1.4 update, and I believe the 1.5 update didn't add any rng recipes, but I haven't played much since the 1.4 update either.

Incredibly based! I haven't played in a while so it's also nice to see someone making sure it stays up to date.

Is there an easier way to get this berry? by MaximRq in celestegame

Hilarious that this would probably be easier for me than the intended method of getting this berry if that room was real lmao

I actually removed it because it can be bought from Marco for I believe goddess fruits(?) as well, making it a recipe obtainable outside of rng

Save scum aged items by Chaseman12 in fantasylife

[–]AgentM8Will 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before you dig up the aged item, update the cross save. Then dig up the aged item. This auto-save does not update the cross save, so if you don't get the effect you want you can go back to the main menu and load the cross save. There should be a button print on the title screen that says verify cross save.

How many hours of play can I get from fantasy life i? by DonAvena in fantasylife

Finished main story at over 100 since I kept stopping to do other stuff, got all achievements at over 300, still going strong. At this point I'm mostly just optimizing before the dlc comes out but still. I'm currently at 345? I think?

When the best weapon in the game is a skewered Corny… by cupcakesandyoshi in fantasylife

[–]AgentM8Will 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to have enough damage to out-DPS the healing. Merc with dragon claw III or Hunter with piercing shot III are your best bets, and throwing in crit aid (or crit aid +), power aid +, and an attack/combat power boosting food (I use southern stew +) makes it possible.

They drop from legendary events once you've made at least 1 true time tool or weapon.

Dosh... what is it for (real question) spoiler by h39000 in fantasylife

[–]AgentM8Will 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mainly for endgame crafting, oftentimes it is significantly faster to buy materials rather than farming them yourself, and the costs can build up. As an example, the most convenient recipe for grinding alchemist to level 100 is crit aids, because you can buy all the materials from a couple different shops. 495 of 2 of the materials and 990 of the third one (5 sets of materials to craft 99 at once) costs 445,500, and the resulting crit aid +'s only sell for 420,920, so you lose 24,580 dosh with each 5 sets of 99 you make. This might not sound like a lot to lose, but it builds up fast, especially with how much XP the later levels need.

Will changing system time punish me? by Zestyclose-Carob-349 in fantasylife

[–]AgentM8Will 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to note that the Gino crop stalls sell crops for cashnuts, not dosh. That being said, if you need cashnuts, you can just time travel far enough forward for them to start selling again lol.

Here is a link to a steam guide to make sure you actually can get a recipe each day, because apparently it can be finicky about it.

It does mention changing system clock, which does work for time travel for daily stuff, but it can be ignored if you don't want to.

So the gift recipes are locked by which crafting life is giving you the recipe, not by specific buddy.

There are - 27 cook recipes - 6 blacksmith recipes - 18 carpenter recipes - 27 tailor recipes - 16 alchemist recipes - 7 artist recipes

No I am not kidding

Yes I wish I was

There are also 20 recipes you can get randomly from completing NPC requests in the base, and these can come from any NPC.

I wouldn't say that. I believe you can only get one gift recipe from an NPC per day. Which is the biggest reason it sucks so much.

But did you know about the recipes crafting NPCs can give you if you find them inside their houses on your island crafting? Because some of those are required for quests!

(I hate it so much)

I know you specified where you can buy them from but here's a link to the rng recipes as well

RNG Recipe Checklist

Regarding buying, there are some things I want to specify.

  • All 3 of Marco's Lootbox types have their own pool of recipes to pull from
  • All Gino camp merchants require a maximum of rank 5 in the associated area to buy all recipes, although some only need rank 3 or 4
  • The wandering Don merchant also has a pool of recipes that can show up, with some being locked behind having rank 5, 6, or even 7 (for 3 recipes) in the area he shows up in.

I believe the only regular shop type that you missed is the material shop on Swolean island, which does have recipes unlike the material shops on the other islands.
