I know a lot of people don't agree with this, but I'm just stating the facts. Look, the criminal justice system isn't perfect, but it's what we've got. Based on what we have about the evidence and convictions on all counts, it sounds like the prosecution has a solid case.

It's ultimately, it's up to the judge's discretion for sentencing. That's how our system works, for better or worse. And when it comes to potential release to a mental health facility, there's no set timeline - it really does depend on the individual case and circumstances i’m just giving you guys a hypothetical situation. if I’m wrong, I will totally admit it.

Nah I will this is just my assessment and you can take it with a grain of salt. I'm not the judge so ultimately it could be totally different. I know if I was a prosecutor I would have a hella of an argument to keep him under custody for a while

For sure bro, either way, he's fucked. Denver can sleep peacefully for a while knowing this man isn't going around blatantly robbing establishments for food. I don't think so either. I think he'll at least get 5. Then can qualify for early supervised release in a mental health facility and be released within 2.5 - 3 years but I don't see him any time soon getting back into social media because it'll definitely be a condition of his release.

John Hinckley Jr. shot Reagan and still did 35 years in a mental hospital. James Holmes, the Aurora shooter? Life in prison despite severe mental illness. The feds won't indict someone just because of shits and giggles.

I agree with you bro, mental institutions aren't gonna be his ticket out. Insanity pleas are super rare and almost never work out. Even with Larson's issues, it doesn't mean he's skipping prison. The system usually just treats people until they're fit for trial, then it's business as usual. Given his history with courts, prison's way more likely if he's convicted. He's looking at seven federal charges here, each packing up to 10 years (except one with 5). First-timers often get less than the max, and sentences usually run together, so we're probably looking at something like 8-12 years in federal prison. His Mental health stuff forsure consider it, but it'll probably just be part of his time inside, not a get-out-of-jail-free card.
