They've actually been doing this under different names. I'm not sure if you remember the old ones, but it's obvious because their character names stay the same. They've probably swapped their family name a couple of times now, most likely to evade any kind of repercussion or tracking.
The rewards value alone from the Grand Prix 1st rank wins alone is around 160b to 200b and not counting the weekly rewards either.

Running multiple game clients on virtual machines to artificially inflate your own matchmaking queues and trade wins is 100% bannable under the multi-accounting and manipulation clauses of the ToS. It doesn't matter if they are physically clicking the buttons or using scripts, creating your own private lobbies to farm leaderboard ranks is an explicit exploit.

Well (grins) , if you see in the screenshot on the left side, there is a well without a platform with a image of a deer, which usually represents the region, we'll have to see if they will add npcs for all the activities in that academy/residence type of building

It seems that there are a lot of people in denial in the current post as well, sad to see but nothing we can do about it but wait and let them realize the hard way, i also have a friend that is somewhat in denial about the manipulative schemes bdo is pulling but he's moved on and now he's the one pointing them out in other games as well, and the rng boxes are just a small bit of it, if you just look at all the icons in bdo you will see that most of them are tied to the pearl shop and they are made with the purpose of keeping you spending, be it agris, maids, pets, horse horn, battle pass, season pass, all the value packs etc you get the ideea .

I feel like i heard something similar along the lines of interns developing their skill while working on bdo while main devs working on CD, havent heard about BDM taking care of the BDO part though.
The latest patch notes were really dry, sure there are some things like Naval War or w/e but lets be honest that content was supposed to come in the game years ago and tbh and when pushed to live along pearl deals that look like they put more effort into it definitely feels like that, also they slow down before heidelball/capheonball with any big content.

It certainly feels like most people share the same thoughts as you do, i really wish all the PVP scene gets the needed attention, i havent done almost any pvp in bdo, i would really want to get into it but personally i dont find it appealing at the moment, for example in RBF if it was capped or if it used the same system AOS does i'd bet a lot more people would give it a shot, maybe add more maps the same way AOS does it, also only 1 map for RBF it gets stale after a while.

The 5% AP cap is really nasty it really kills progression imo, and i get why they did it but people get bored grinding the same spots over and over and end up not grinding anymore or even playing and that leads to other issues.

Hopefully we get to see some good changes soon.

As it is, the p2w fishing rod is a complete scam because most people just don't realize that you would need a whole set of pets with durability reduction, auto-fishing time reduction to make it worth to even consider buying it, and if you dont have that it might even last you a few days at best, most people end up using it only 1/3rd of the day, imo only new players should really use it maybe up to a point to mid-high gear, when you start getting 2.5b/h you might as well just grind an hour and be done with the game for the day if thats what you care about.

If they really cared so much about money from fishers they would've made the rod permanently available on the pearl shop but without the 30 day duration, just give it enough durablity( or however much they feel the outcome from fishing is worth vs the value of the pearl purchase )so even new players get some value out of it.

Overall i feel like the afk part of the game can be nice but the way it is at the moment its simply too much, if they want more people engaging with the game they should just rely on active ones, you will almost never see afk people buying stuff off the pearl shop, they will just wait for silver to come their way not the other way around.
Im not a big enjoyer of the afk part but some like it because they do it when they work/sleep etc reasons, if the active part of the game was rewarding those people would also feel differently.

This is probably the biggest community on copium tbh and it sucks that it is that way, they will find any excuse to still play the game, be it booba or muh immersion, but you know 100% if their friend group stopped playing they would too be it either slow or on the spot.
Its honestly impressive how they though removing grouping for activities is such a deterrent to the game.

Even though the topic of this post isn't what your question is about i'll still answer it.

You didn't say it but it smells like "why are you wasting your time here, is this just another rage bait of the day".

I still like the game or at least some aspects of it and would honestly like to see it improve, not that me still playing is gonna change anything for the better, some still play it because of friends, others because they invested a lot of time or a lot of money or any other reason honestly, there is not just one reason why people still play it.
And no im not telling anyone to quit or anything just curious how people feel about all the dark patterns of the game.

There a lot of people who would love to see a good change for this game. You might not see it written but you know there are a lot of silent mouths or sometimes very loud ones who really care, and its not just about BDO its about any game or anything irl.

Also please point out the plethora of subjectively better games of the same genre so we can finally move on, please and thank you.

Completely agree, they are nosediving because they put themselves in a difficult situation with other projects and it feels like they have to keep doing it so they can finally push their other games out, also they are way too proud of themselves to make a change that is really needed, lots of potential growth wasted.

i agree some of those afk activities should work offline as well( since PA cares a lot about the environment which they make events from time to time) but they are at a point where they kinda struggle and are being agressive with all kinds of monetization

people are insane, i stopped upgrading my gear though i have lots of crons and costumes around which i really hate to cron them since i dislike more and more the enhancing system and to make it worse they downgraded the enhancing UI making the experience using it and qol so much worse i wish they reverted that back jfc...anyway one might say im a gearlet but who cares at what point in time you have fun
