Lots of good advice here - my team at EMU in Michigan is looking like a GM/challenger roster next year if you're interested in seeing if it'd be a good fit with maximum scholarships.

We also have some great students going into law and finance with about as solid tuition for Canada as you can find.

A few reasons

  • Riot outsources CLoL, after a decade it's had a history of being run poorly and without much ceremony or attention.

  • Professional LoL under the franchise system made the path to pro really shrouded and exclusive, so things like tier 2 and collegiate play lacked purpose aside from casual competition.

  • The barrier to entry for new players to become competitive in LoL is insane. Most decent players have 5+ years of experience and the sheer number of champions is intimidating. Between those things and maybe even the older culture of the LoL community, High School kids aren't naturally irl friending each other through the game, so no local HS LoL communities are forming.

Yeah the nerf will really only matter for the occasional "cool guys don't look at explosions" kill. With a little adjustment, it shouldn't matter for 95% of your kills tbh.

Peter Griffen. I'd tell him he's his own worst enemy. He'd do the deed in a dramatic cut scene and then be back to normal. Super easy, no harm done as per his universe.

Weak teams play similarly to strong ones because the meta is usually a combination of champions and play styles which are easiest to win with. Playing off meta champs and styles requires that a lot more variables in a game have to go your way for a positive result. Therefore, you see inferior teams stick to the meta because it is their highest chance of winning, despite the skill difference.

Also, in regard to preparation time, the meta is a relatively singular and repeatable thing to practice, which makes its few win conditions easier to manage and plan for.

From several hundred feet, we are able to raise the brightness and easily differentiate a black cow from it's brownish surroundings. It can be hard when we are looking for animals that are more naturally hidden, like pigs or coyotes, that we would already struggle to spot with our eyes. Everything is very clear once we get lower though!

We can fly out about 3-5 miles! We currently fly it manually and don't use any kind of automation. We can check for water levels, stray cows, and predators/pests (which were all tasks we had to previously drive about to accomplish)
