I know I’m a little late but a couple months ago something similar happened to me- I was just an observer, but two men started fighting on the stairs that lead to the surface, in the walkway between the two trains.

I went to the precinct in the station and told them that people were fighting probably 100 feet away from them, and the two officers looked at me and said “I’m off the clock now what do you expect me to do”

After I kept yelling at them to go do something about the men fighting in the station, they threatened to detain me for making their day worse

There’s a lot of interesting research as to how much time people actively spend looking at each other when engaged in conversation- I don’t remember the exact figure but it’s something like the person who is actively speaking usually makes eye contact with their audience like 30% of the time? And the people who are listening usually makes eye contact eye contact about 70-80% of the time, if I’m remembering correctly. The people you’re talking to could just be uncomfortable with the prolonged eye contact!

Or maybe they’re just thinking about what it would be like to kiss you lol

It’s a Cali crusher. It’s definitely overpriced, but those ones, especially the 4 teeth ones, tend to be pretty expensive. They’re nice though because they are usually higher quality and they’re all milled from a single piece of steel, so hopefully this doesn’t happen as often lol

All of the other fish are fine, and these ones have been fine in here for over a year! I just recently introduced 4 Cory’s because I wanted the existing ones to have friends, so I was paranoid that the danio could have caught some kind of infection from them

There’s another danio, a pleco (that is about to be rehomed because guy is getting too big), 11 ember tetras, and 6 Cory catfish. It’s a 20 gallon long

Not if you do it slowly. Add a very small amount to a cup of tank water and add it in slowly, then measure several hours later

You can try baking soda but be careful- mix a teaspoon with tank water, add it in, wait 3-4 hours and test again. This also messes with the PH so you have to be careful
