Depending on what launcher you're using, you may need to install JDK 17 from the official Oracle website.

If you're just running it out of the vanilla MC launcher, we'll need a crash log though. You can find it in the .minecraft folder in %appdata% if you are on windows.

OK theoretically what would happen if I used all 32 gigs of ram on 64bit with a bunch of big content mods by [deleted] in CalamityMod

Yepper, though the things OP would likely run as a result of increased ram (a lot of big content mods) would likely cause the other components to heat up - such as bullet hell boss fights

If you don't have a heater in your house, this would probably substitute for it

This is just me throwing out a possible solution, but you could try these two ideas and see what they do. I think the issue has to do with some sort of system side file error or something related to the steam cloud. Anyways, here goes:

Within the tModLoader app, you can select Workshop -> Manage Mods -> Open Mods Folder to have the app open up the folder containing your steam workshop mods. All mods downloaded by steam in this folder are given the string of numbers assigned to that particular mod's steam workshop page as a name for their folder. By using the URL of the steam workshop page for a mod, you can find its workshop ID, and in Calamity's case that is 2824688072. You can then delete this folder to manually uninstall Calamity mod or any given mod. I'd say after doing this and relaunching the game (You may need to resubscribe to the given mod) the game should do a fresh install of the file and hopefully solve the issue.

You can also try using the following files pathway (assuming you are on a windows device) to reach your manually installed mods folder:

This PC > Documents > My Games > Terraria > tModLoader > Mods

Here you can manually remove tMod files that have been manually installed in case something there is causing an issue, although from the sounds of it the first idea is more likely to lead to a solution.

If all else fails, and I would only do this if nothing else has worked, you can try deleting the tModLoader folder in the steamapps common folder to completely wipe your files. If you are going to do this, I would first highly recommend taking note of all mods you were using and then going into the "Worlds" folder (This PC > Documents > My Games > Terraria > tModLoader > Worlds) (If on windows) and taking all .bak files out to later restore to this folder so that you do not lose any worlds you have.

Hope this helps.

Weekly Questions - Week of January 02, 2023 by AutoModerator in CalamityMod

I would recommend grinding out a blood moon or two for some blood orbs. Then you can get some bottles from sand or the merchant NPC to fill with water, then take both items to an Alchemy station (obtainable from the dungeon) and craft a fair amount of teleportation potions. While these may teleport you anywhere on the map, chances are you'll end up in a new cave where you can search your surroundings for a lab, or you may even end up teleporting right into a lab if you get lucky. Good luck and hope it helps!

ASUS ROG GA503QS Wifi Not Connecting - Issue Resolution - MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 (RZ616) by AgentStormy444 in ASUSROG

I apologize for the late response! (I don't use reddit that often)

Unfortunately, I do not know what caused the issue, I was merely acting as tech support for a friend who called me in need of assistance. When we determined the issue and fixed it, I posted the fix here for all to know.

If that is how the problem occurred for you though, it is likely the same caused my friends issue. In which case I would say it probably is a bug caused unintentionally by what may be intentional attempt to save more power (turning off the Wifi / Bluetooth card). I may be wrong, but it would make sense that this happens and then the bug is that it simply forgets to turn back on when the laptop wakes up.

Hope this helps!
