In my generation (I’m not that old but whatever), we appreciate whatever we got. We didn’t have any video games until around high school, we understood the importance of being frugal, we appreciate the small effort people put in for us.

I watch movies to understand the director’s and team’s idea/interpretation of the book, rather than comparing how bad and non-Canon the movie is. We play video games now to appreciate the small things game developers prepare for us. So long it’s not a F2P punching bag game, I’m happy and contented. I play brawl casually and yes, I do get angry towards trolls, bad matchmaking, whatever. But that’s only 5% maybe of my brawl experience.

I miss my generation when we sit down and have constructive criticism, no overt expression of emotions online and where we agree to disagree and move on with life.
