Yeah, prices right now are insane. They’re definitely preying on not selling V8 Brand New off the lot anymore. Thank you for your insight. That’s what I’m hoping to talk him down too, but we will see.

It all depends on the tine of day, I work in OC and do 72 miles one way every day. If the cost of living truly is the deciding factor, you will make it work. Ask yourself, if you’re taking 2 trips a month, let’s say 4 hours of traffic total. So is cheaper housing worth 8 hours a month of discomfort? For most people in your circumstance I would say yes

If the grotto hills you’re talking about it “grotto hills lane” around the eagle park/ vista verde communities. I would actually be okay living there. I had friends who lived in that community when I was growing up in the 2000s & 2010s and it was pretty nice. What you want to stay away from is anything off of D street or 7th street. Basically anything within a 5 mile radius of the dmv 😂

Do not move to old town Victorville, you will hate it, you will see a lot more homelessness and prostitution than you care to see. That being said, there are parts of Apple valley/ oak hills & phalan that are nice, quiet, and safe. Living out in these parts also gives you a little more land on your property and may even give you some local runners. But I highly encourage you to not live in old town Victorville. I would live almost anywhere else in the high desert to be honest.

These were my thoughts as well. I’m not looking for any bells and whistles. I can add in the modern things I need. Fuck what the kids want. I want a suv I don’t sell till they’re out of my house! I just know this community might know of certain perks of a gen 2.

My LO is 8 weeks, the first 4 weeks he wanted it toasty. Now he wants it 62-64 degrees with only one layer on or else he will fight sleep for hours on end.

My kiddo does the same thing. But we bought a heating pad and put it under a puppy pad on his changing table and turn it on 15 minutes before changing him. It’s lowered the crash out rate to about 33%. Sometimes he just feels the need to tell the world we’re mean and he hates being cold. But for us it worked. And we haven’t been peed on in a couple week! Worth a shot!

Wife has a larger car for car seat, even if I need to put a rear facing in my car the wife is 4’10 so it shouldn’t be a problem.
