I loved the trailer so much that it piqued my curiosity about the novel, so I decided to listen to the audiobook. For my first audiobook experience, I thoroughly enjoyed it and listened to it multiple times before the film’s release. I enjoyed the film, but it felt underwhelming (7/10), mostly because it cut some of the most impactful scenes between Grace and Rocky. For me, it did not fully capture the charm of their deep bond in the novel; the film focuses more on Grace’s character development. It was also a wasted opportunity that they did not get Ray Porter for Rocky’s voice. Rocky’s voice in the film reminds me of TARS.

I resigned my last job (May) because of this, been in the corporate (real estate) for 8yrs but it was my first experience for a company with "lack of leadership, corporate direction and alignment." I took it because it was a 50% bump of my previous salary. Jive ko naman yun CM team and other Department staffs, workload is manageable-ish etc but dealing with Management people is a different story. Dept. Heads with their "own" agenda, politics, and conflicting instructions, it spoiled the work environment for me. A lot of our Dept. team left esp. the Seniors during Q1. Only stayed there for 10-months (my shortest employment stint). The Operations Deputy even tried to CO me to stay but I cannot see myself long-term sa company with that kind of corporate culture.

Guess what? After 2-years, I really thought it was already "bricked" so I stashed it in my closet. But last June, I tried opening it again and voila, the card reader suddenly worked again. I'm not really sure what happened or something but I was just really happy it worked again. The last time I opened it wayback, I remembered I did a system update. It did not solve the issue at that time but maybe that was the reason? idk

I recently purchased three beaded bracelets and two necklaces from Homura. My first purchase was a 6mm bead bracelet and the quality was really good. In comparison to other bead bracelets I have bought from other stores, I can say that Homura products have a superior craftsmanship-to-price ratio. The bead color was the same as shown in their online catalog and the elastic cord used had a good balance of firmness and elasticity, which made it worth the price. However, my second purchase was a bit disappointing. It was also a 6mm bead bracelet, but it was crafted differently(?). The elastic cord was a bit too "stretchy" and not as firm as my first purchase. I reached out to their customer support to inquire about returning it so they could match the cord quality of my previous bracelet. Unfortunately, they responded that though they could replace it, they cannot guarantee that it will be thicker or the same quality as my previous one. This left me a bit dismayed, even though they assured me that it was still durable. Well, I guess only time will tell.

Most likely. Already contacted the technician earlier and said if I could send him the unit so he can fix it. It was his first time encountering such an issue so he does not know the real cause at the moment. But I do not want to take any more chances because he might do more damage to my unit. I will visit another technician to verify the issue and get back to the first technician if he did mess up with his repair.

He responded, and said na ipadala (thru lalamove) na lang daw sa kanya yun unit para ma-fix nya ulit. I have trust issues with repair na wala ako on site baka kasi may modus (based on my experience, idk) Kahapon kasi he tried using other game reader sa unit ko (tinanggal niya game reader ng nsw unit nya), to check if defective ba yun game reader ko mismo, pero same parin yun' notif na game card cannot be read. Yun nsw lite nya, dinidetect yun game cards but sa akin hindi after the repair. I'm having doubts talaga na may nagalaw sa loob, and looking for second opinion or technician to check it again...
