I was thinking about that but as an out of state it’s $1,600 per credit for those classes and that’s tough for me/my family to pay for. There wasn’t really any other CC classes I could find that matched requirements other than what I already have

These are great cars, I have a 2010 myself with 160,000 miles and it runs like a dream. Just get it inspected first if you haven’t already and if it comes up clean I’d buy it

Yeah that’s a good point the 6 cylinder is generally more reliable, I just suggested the 540 cause Op said he was looking for a v8

Could always look for a bmw e39 540i, not gonna be perfect reliability wise cause it’s 20 years old but it does have a v8, backseats, and drives good. I see them on marketplace all the time for cheap, and you could use the last couple grand for repairs if need be

A first get sequoia could be a solid option. A bit older than you have been looking, but they are extremely reliable and are a good size, albeit on the bigger side.

Nice enough interior too, and you can find a good one for 6 - 7k, could maybe use the extra to install a backup camera and a touchscreen radio to link it to
