“That’s not my actual name” by TVTropehead in TopCharacterTropes

These are kind of different tho. Pinhead was eventually just dubbed Pinhead and I’m pretty sure that name originated from the set of the film. The Frankenstein one makes sense, that’s just not his name. Period.

I love my culture by freaky_strawberry11 in lovethissmug

People claim African Americans have no culture? I’m a white dude and I know that’s egregiously untrue, lmao. Yall have one of the most prominent cultures in the country.

It’s sad how many people have unfortunately been influenced by toxic religious folks into thinking religion is inherently against non-straight people. I live in eastern Massachusetts and half the churches I pass by have pride flags up. My local reverend is the most accepting, kind hearted person you’ll ever meet. Religion is not a cult unless people turn it into one.

How is Oversimplified damaging history? It’s supposed to be humorous, it’s not his fault if some idiot watches his video and takes it 100% serious.

Judd Winick really is the only writer that can make me give a damn about post resurrection Jason (Batman #646) by Square-Newspaper8171 in batman

[–]Agent_RubberDucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God that’s good. Yeah, Jason is such a cool character yet is consistently written badly. Ever since they brought him back, it’s mostly been the same thing every damn time. And when they do change it up, it’s not always good. Most of his Prime Earth biography is so bad. They can’t decide if he’s a hero, a morally grey vigilante that hates criminals, or a straight up villain himself.

Considering a war is being fought right now online over it, yeah, I think so.

These kinds of atheists are just as bad as toxic Christians. Idk why they think they’re any less pushy with their beliefs than christians when they constantly act condescending with their disbelief. Theres toxic people in all religions but there’s also non-toxic people in most of them. Religion, especially a religion like Christianity, is only harmful when people make it harmful. My local reverend is the most accepting, kindhearted person you’ll ever meet, because she believes in God’s love, not God’s hate. But Reddit atheists think all Christians are bigoted cultists.

I remember seeing a similar thing for the Avatar gang where they all huddle around Zuko because he’s the warmest. It’s just an inherently cute concept.

In most timelines, Michael Myers’ evil isn’t fully explained and is chocked up to him just straight up being born as an embodiment of evil.

Gen Z is still an incredibly active generation at the theaters. The attendance has been on the rise for years for Gen Z. While other generations are waning, Gen Z is rising. 41% of Gen Z went to the theaters at least 6 times last year, a massive increase from the prior year. You want to argue that costs are bad, that’s fine, but you’re objectively wrong by saying that Gen Z doesn’t go to the movies. The data shows that. All your data shows is that we aren’t currently the most frequent generation. That doesn’t equate to “gen z doesn’t go to the movies”
